A Different Look at a Chocolate Brownie Recipes

Brownies are just sinful and delectable piece of pastry that would just melt away your stress. You can sometimes call it magic brown blocks of smiles. A chocolate brownie recipe is not really very complicated. This is actually quite fascinating since you would never think that something this delicious can be so easy to make. This is quite a myth for some people especially those who do not bake. There are no reasons for you to fear the oven. There are a number of things that you can do once you learn how to use it.

It would be best to go about learning the base recipe of the chocolate brownies recipe and I am sure you can then make some variations afterwards. Learning the basics of a pastry with this kind of consistency and texture will also be useful if you are looking into baking something that is not chocolate based. A chocolate brownie recipe is not a mystery that needs to be discovered with utmost effort. Finding it is as easy as actually making them. The ingredients are no different. They can be found easily in bake shops. As you would see on the recipe, you will be using cocoa powder. This should help you get a normal consistency and you can then make other variations with another type of chocolate. Here are some twists that you can give your homemade brownie recipe:

Nuts

This is more likely to give you an additional type of texture in your brownies. This is a common part of a healthy brownie recipe. Adding types of nuts on your batch is going to do more than just improve the taste. You can go ahead and choose from your favorites like peanuts, cashews, pistachios, almonds or whatever you type of nuts you would like to put in the batter.

Chocolate Chips

I know it is already a chocolate brownie recipe but who does not like chocolate. You can sprinkle some chocolate after you have applied the frosting on your brownies. You can also get different kind of sweetness by using white chocolate chips. You will also get a nice contrast on your brownies.

Berries

This may be a bit unusual for the recipe but adding some of your favorite berries can really give your brownies a different type of kick. You can just go ahead and chop up some berries and mix it in your batter. You do not want to make it too thick if you have berries in the batter since you still want to retain the moisture of the berries when you bite into it. There are a lot you can choose from like the normal red or black berries or strawberries.

Coconut

There are different ways wherein you can apply coconut into your chocolate brownie recipe. The easiest way is to use shavings and sprinkle it on top after you are done with your frosting. You can also use this to mix in with your batter. You just have to make sure that the coconut you are using is young. If it is too old then the shavings may not be as sweet as you want it to be.

Ala Mode

This is a serving suggestion when you go ahead and serve up your brownies. This does not require you to alter your chocolate brownie recipe. All you have to do is serve up your brownies with ice cream or just plain cream on top. You can then pour some chocolate fudge on over it and you are good to go. You can call it chocolate overkill but for me it is just plain good.
